Engineering Manager

Location: County Galway

Overview:

As the Engineering Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the test and process teams at our site in County Galway. You'll be instrumental in establishing and maintaining industrial standards for the site, including processes, equipment, and plant layout. Ensuring the deployment of process objectives and compliance levels within the site is crucial, as is managing and ensuring the coherence of industrialization programs. Additionally, you'll oversee the industrial investments program and spearhead efforts to monitor machine performance and drive improvement plans.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic production technologies initiatives at the site.
• Manage and lead the Senior Process team onsite.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the site, PG/PL/RO/platform, and the Process Centre of Excellence.
• Oversee the teams within your purview (plant, production, and industrialization).
• Align the strategic plans of the site with the Medium-Term Plan (MTP) within your area of responsibility.
• Drive standardization programs for products and processes within your jurisdiction.
• Participate in Technical Committee meetings and validate process Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• Manage and approve industrialization projects with support from experts.
• Determine program allocation during CAA and IAR processes.
• Participate in strategic project review meetings and sourcing committees.
• Ensure compliance with equipment and tools standardization rules from PG.
• Develop and manage programs and budgets.
• Master the industrial performance metrics of the site, including Delivery Lead Time (DL), Quality, and Asset Utilization.
• Provide support to daughter sites during ramp-up phases and process issues.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a highy regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in an engineering discipline.
