Equipment Automation Technician - Contract

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for automation and electrical troubleshooting?
 We're looking for a dedicated Equipment Automation Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our industrial equipment. If you have the technical expertise and experience, we want to hear from you!
Shifts are 12 hour day shifts, Thursday to Saturday & every second Sunday, 20% premium included.

Key Requirements:

• Strong Industrial / Equipment Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient troubleshooting experience with Automation equipment.
• Allen Bradley PLC Troubleshooting experience: Capable of going online with Allen Bradley PLC's, stepping through code during troubleshooting activities, and comfortable with reading and interpreting Allen Bradley software.
• PC Troubleshooting experience: Building PCs, replacing hard drives/PC hardware, and software installation.

Advantageous Experience:

• Equipment Motion Control expertise, including stepper/servo motion control, drives/controllers.
• Knowledge of Robots: Kuka and Denso robotics - setup, maintenance, and servicing.
• Familiarity with Vision Systems, especially Cognex.
• General automation and controls experience.
• Minimum Level 6 in a STEM degree
