Job Title: Construction Supervisor - Contractor

Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee the construction of various projects. This role requires the management of worksite activities, ensuring all trades collaborate effectively to deliver high-quality results within deadlines, while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of equipment, materials, and construction sites.
• Schedule and lead regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and project plans, and present them to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with design professionals and other key experts.
• Stay informed on the latest safety codes and construction advancements.
• Monitor project expenses to ensure adherence to the construction budget.
• Approve projects by conducting inspections during critical phases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop contracts.

 

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred but not essential.
• Proven experience in reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) and issuing permits is essential.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with leadership experience being advantageous.
