EMC Test Technician – Evening Shift (2pm–10pm)

Role Summary
The EMC Test Technician will be responsible for executing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrical Testing (ET) on next-generation automotive products. Working within a skilled team, the role involves following detailed procedures to ensure accurate validation and high-quality reporting for international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EMC/ET testing to strict ISO17025 protocols and international automotive standards.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced EMC test equipment and instrumentation.

• Follow detailed test plans and work instructions to complete scheduled validation activities.

• Accurately record and document test data and observations.

• Assist in compiling customer-facing validation reports.

• Communicate clearly with engineering teams on test status, issues, and recommendations.

• Support troubleshooting and design improvements based on test results.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Fixed 2pm–10pm, Monday to Friday.

• Training: Temporary adjustment to 9am–5pm may be required for initial training.

• Note: No shift allowance. Fixed shift ensures stability and routine.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Qualification or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar field.

• Prior experience in an EMC test lab or electronics testing role is desirable.

• Recent graduates with hands-on lab experience and strong technical interest are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Knowledge:

• Understanding of automotive systems including 12V power, inrush currents, and cold cranking amps (CCA).

• Familiarity with EMC theory, RF testing, or electrical validation methods.
