We are seeking Mid-Level and Senior MES Engineers to join our team in supporting, enhancing, and developing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within regulated manufacturing settings. These roles are pivotal in maintaining MES infrastructure, authoring and managing digital recipes, and ensuring robust support for production systems.

Senior Engineers will additionally provide technical leadership, mentorship, and project oversight.

Purpose

• Maintain the MES environment, including authoring and upkeep of recipes, worksheets, and system documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES and SAP-related issues during recipe execution and system configuration.
• Senior-Level:
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and solutioning support to MES Engineers.
• Act as an escalation point for complex system troubleshooting and advanced recipe design.
• Offer project management oversight and strategic direction within the MES function.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MES recipes, worksheets, equipment specifications, and material specifications, including phase transition logic.
• Author and execute system validation protocols, risk assessments, and maintain system documentation.
• Ensure alignment of cleaning, equipment, and product procedures with MES processes.
• Train site personnel on MES roles, responsibilities, and system access.
• Participate in MES knowledge-sharing forums, governance meetings, and manage issues, workarounds, and system improvements.
• Liaise with global or centralized MES teams to align site improvements and updates.
• Support MES system users to maintain operational continuity.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by integrating MES and hardware needs.
• Maintain and update documentation to comply with cGMP standards.
• Participate in cross-training within the MES team and assist in onboarding new members.
• Drive continuous improvement programs focused on enhancing quality, safety, environmental standards, and production efficiency.
• Adhere to EHS standards, procedures, and policies at all times.

Additional Senior-Level Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning for complex MES configurations and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Act as a technical lead or project manager for MES-related implementation projects.
• Guide and mentor MES Engineers and junior team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Mid-Level: Minimum 2+ years of MES authoring experience.
• Senior-Level:
• Minimum 5+ years of MES authoring and implementation experience.
• Experience with POMSnet (essential).
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Experience working in FDA/HPRA regulated industries with a strong understanding of cGMP.
• Good IT systems knowledge; experience with SAP MM, PP, and IM modules is an advantage.
