Job Title: CIP (Clean in Process Engineer)

CIP Gap Assessment Contractor: 6-8 Month On-Site Engagement, 2 days per week (Potential for 5 Days per week for the right candidate)

My Client is looking for an experienced CIP specialist to help benchmark and strengthen our Clean-in-Place operations across a busy food processing facility.

What you’ll be doing

Over a 6-8month on-site assignment, you’ll carry out a structured assessment of roughly 40 CIP circuit systems. Think dosing lines, valves, pumps and associated process loops. The focus is to understand where we stand against HACCP, GFSI requirements and EHEDG hygienic design principles, then highlight what needs to improve.

Key responsibilities

• Review system design with a hygiene engineering lens

• Evaluate cleaning protocol performance across time, temperature, flow and concentration

• Assess monitoring and verification practices like conductivity, temperature and ATP/micro checks

• Audit documentation, recipes, traceability and corrective actions

• Identify opportunities to reduce water, energy and chemical use

• Produce a practical, risk-ranked action plan to guide upgrades and optimisation

What we’re looking for

• Solid background in wet process management or food engineering

• Strong understanding of CIP validation, HACCP and GFSI schemes

• Experience running technical audits and turning findings into clear, workable plans

• Someone who’s comfortable working independently on site and engaging with plant teams

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch or apply directly to explore the opportunity.
