Job Title: Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical Projects)

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

• Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
• Manage the design, commissioning, qualification, and overall project lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deliverables.

Collaboration & Safety

• Work collaboratively with site teams to foster a culture of safety and compliance, promoting the highest standards of site safety throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the coordination of multiple capital projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and compliance with company standards.

Construction Oversight

• Oversee on-site construction activities, particularly during peak times and staff leave periods, ensuring smooth operations and timely project completion.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Project Management disciplines.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, with proven expertise in engineering, maintenance, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of the project lifecycle from concept to qualification, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with engineering project management tools and financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Experience working in a regulated GMP environment, with a commitment to the highest standards of engineering and compliance.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP (preferred but not essential).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
