Senior Project Lead Consultant

Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Project Lead Consultant to manage complex engineering projects within the biopharmaceutical industry. This leadership role will involve overseeing project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and driving continuous improvement in project management practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing biopharmaceutical projects and a strong background in project leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while managing resources effectively.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Manage project stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates on status, risks, and issues.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring that risks are managed and mitigated appropriately.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven ability to lead complex projects in biopharmaceutical environments.
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMP and GDP regulations is highly desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills and proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure.
