Sourcing Specialist- Level 1 or Level 2

Location open to candidate preference: Galway, Cork or Tipperary

Hybrid role - 3 days a week on site

Function: Procurement

Purpose

Provide reporting and analysis to support the Global Sourcing function and Strategic Sourcing management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc spend analysis reports.
• Support data requests from senior leaders and the Procurement Council.
• Identify and implement process improvements for analytics.
• Leverage strong analytical skills to evaluate spend, ensure compliance, and manage budgets.
• Utilise system tools such as Ariba and oversee contract invoicing.

Job Scope

• Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of procurement concepts and processes, depending on level.

• Impact: Focus on task-specific contributions with growing scope and responsibility.
• Communication: Share information, seek clarity, and compile data to support decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• Finance background is preferred; medical device experience is not required.
• This position is open at Level 1 or Level 2, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
