Supplier Engineer II

Role Purpose
As a Supplier Engineer, you will play a key role in driving Material Value Improvement Projects (MVIP) aimed at achieving consistent cost reductions on purchased commodities.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Expertise
- Act as a technical team member across multidisciplinary groups, including Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Business Units.
- Apply technical knowledge in commodity management and quality systems to achieve project goals.
Supplier and Quality Management
- Support quality, cost, and service objectives across the supply chain.
- Promote and enhance quality systems within supplier networks.
- Ensure supplier compliance with established requirements and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration
- Lead material value improvement projects and supply chain optimizations.
- Partner with Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Receiving Inspection teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress.
Project Leadership
- Plan and manage projects, including product and process transfers.
- Develop GMP-compliant documentation with team collaboration.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate obstacles impeding project success.
Education & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in supplier engineering or project management roles.
Preferred Skills
- Strong project management capabilities and financial process understanding.
- Experience in supply chain project management and regulated environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
