Are you an experienced Supply Planner with a passion for working in an innovative and fast-paced environment? Our client is a global leader in their industry, and they are looking for a talented EMEA Supply Planner to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your career in supply chain management, while collaborating with diverse and forward-thinking professionals across Europe.

Role Overview:

As an EMEA Supply Planner, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the business by driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply planning process. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Demand Planning, to ensure the demand plan aligns with the business strategy. This role will see you actively involved in demand planning, forecasting, and market intelligence analysis, playing a key role in shaping the company’s supply chain success across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning Management: Manage demand planning exceptions, such as out-of-control demand, forecast bias, and unusual month-to-date demand, while ensuring accurate demand forecasting throughout the process.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the demand planning aspects of the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, end-of-life products, and the smooth transition of products in and out of the market (phase-in/phase-out).
  • Market Intelligence Application: Gather, analyse, and incorporate market intelligence into the demand plan, ensuring that insights from the market inform your forecasts and decisions.
  • Forecast Optimisation: Optimise the statistical forecast within demand planning tools, leveraging performance metrics to drive forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Data Integrity & System Management: Maintain high levels of data integrity within the demand planning systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date forecasting data at all times.
  • Finished Goods Forecasting: Take responsibility for forecasting finished goods across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with business needs and inventory strategies.
  • What-If Simulations: Perform detailed simulations and scenario analysis on forecasts, allowing you to anticipate potential issues and plan for contingencies.
  • Project Management: Lead and support key supply chain initiatives and projects, contributing to continuous process improvement and overall business efficiency.
  • Support Supply & Production Planning: Provide critical inputs to support the development of inventory strategies, collaborating closely with the Supply and Production Planning teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in supply chain planning or a similar logistics role.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control, forecasting techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Systems Proficiency: Expertise in demand and DRP planning tools, with experience using SAP and APO systems.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Business & Engineering (Industrial Engineering).
