Senior EHS Specialist - Galway

Job Summary: Are you ready to lead as a Senior EH&S Specialist on a permanent basis? Join our dynamic team where you'll drive workplace safety and health, pioneering EHS innovation.

Your Mission: As a key team member, you'll lead safety programs, emergency response strategies, and ensure compliance with ISO45001:2018 standards and regulations. Represent us to regulatory agencies and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety initiatives, risk assessments, and chemical compliance.
• Maintain plant statistics and uphold ISO45001:2018 status.
• Advocate in regulatory matters for compliance.
• Enhance efficiency in chemical handling and hazardous waste management.
• Collaborate with supervisors to mitigate health and safety impacts.
• Manage EHS inspections and audits.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions.

Your Background:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (Level 8 Honours).
• 5+ years experience, ideally in medical devices or senior EHS roles.
• Expertise in health and safety legislation and HSE management systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
