We’re working with a leading global manufacturer based in Clonmel, seeking an experienced Business Excellence Manager to drive operational excellence across a high-impact, high-tech site.
The Opportunity
This is more than just a process improvement role—it’s a strategic leadership position. You’ll shape and deliver the site’s business excellence roadmap, integrating Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools to create lasting value across operations. You’ll lead a high-performing team, work cross-functionally, and play a pivotal role in transforming how the business delivers quality, efficiency, and performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a site-wide business excellence strategy with measurable impact.
Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
Implement digital lean tools to enhance real-time decision-making and productivity.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to embed best-in-class processes.
Guide change management efforts and support organisational readiness.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Benchmark externally and internally to ensure the site stays ahead of the curve.
About You
Degree-qualified (NFQ Level 7+) in engineering, science, operations, or related field.
9+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or regulated industries.
Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) and experienced in Class A environments.
Proven track record leading CI teams and complex transformation programs.
Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Experience implementing digital lean or Industry 4.0 solutions a strong advantage.
