Are you a Production Manager with proven success in increasing production performance in a manufacturing environment ? Our client seeks a forward thinking manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of an industrial manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production heavy industrial equipment.
The role requires a strong focus on efficient maximizing production, planning, continuous improvement, team leadership and health & safety compliance. This is a key role in the management team.

Our client seeks a forward thinking manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of an industrial manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production heavy industrial equipment.
The role requires a strong focus on efficient maximizing production, planning, continuous improvement, team leadership and health & safety compliance. This is a key role in the management team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure maximisation and optimisation of cost-effective production.
- Manage production schedules and adjust workloads to meet demand.
- Monitor production output ensuring weekly\monthly production targets are achieved and implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Oversee the fabrication, welding, forming, and finishing of stainless-steel components, while ensuring adherence to quality control procedures and product specifications
- Identify areas for efficiency gains and cost savings using lean manufacturing techniques.
- Lead root cause analysis and improvement projects (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma methodologies).
- Supervise and lead production team leads including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
- Maintain and enforce health and safety standards across the production floor.
- Third level qualification in relevant discipline.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with production planning and resource management systems (e.g., ERP/MRP).
- Desirable to have knowledge of stainless-steel fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, bending, finishing). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
