Senior Systems Analyst – HR Information System

As a Senior Systems Analyst – HR Information System (HRIS), you will play a key role in the implementation, integration, and ongoing support of the HRIS platform. This position is based at the Global Technology Operations Centre (GTOC) in Europe, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland, Italy, and Croatia.

Key Responsibilities
System Implementation and Integration
Act as technical lead and business partner during the ongoing HRIS implementation.
Serve as the primary liaison between HR, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and integration projects.
Identify risks, concerns, and ambiguities during requirements gathering and assist in developing effective solutions.
Partner with project managers to ensure timely documentation and delivery.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing and deployment phases.
Provide end-user support, troubleshoot application issues, and deliver system training.
Support HRIS integration with payroll, time and attendance, and related applications.
System Maintenance and Innovation
Oversee and maintain optimal HRIS performance, including configuration, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
Manage user permissions, access, personalization, and related system operations.
Handle external interfaces, data quality, and other non-functional requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, release notes, and training guides.
Prioritize system enhancement requests with relevant stakeholders.
Develop and execute upgrade and patching processes, including testing and validation.
Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions aligned with business continuity plans.
Manage vendor relationships, oversee service delivery, and monitor contractual performance.
Lead end-user escalations, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Design workflows that streamline and reflect HR operational needs.
User Support and Training
Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and user support for HRIS applications.
Collaborate with leadership and HR teams to identify system enhancements and implement improvements.
Promote collaboration and change management through regular communication and training sessions.
Support project completion through teamwork and proactive engagement.
Perform additional duties and management responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 7 years’ related experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Degree or certification in IT, software lifecycle management, or equivalent technical training.
Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing or supporting enterprise-level systems such as:
HR systems (Workday, Cornerstone, PeopleSoft, MegaHR)
EMR/EHR systems (TrakCare, Cerner, EpicCare, Meditech)
Patient Administration systems (iSoft, TrakCare, Meditech)
Familiarity with HR policies and procedures to ensure HRIS alignment with organisational goals.
Experience administering Cornerstone HCM Cloud or other HR systems preferred.
Strong skills in configuration, security administration, reporting, workflow, and data integration.
Knowledge of GDPR, HR system implementation, and European HR system support essential.
Flexibility to provide off-hour support as needed.
Willingness to travel to European sites as required.
