Our global client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their HR team based onsite in County Galway. This is a hands-on, highly visible role supporting one the site's workforce, with a strong focus on day-to-day HR operations, employee engagement, and partnering closely with managers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers on-site
  • Deliver end-to-end HR support across all routine HR activities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including:
  • Inductions and onboarding
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Absence management and disciplinary processes
  • Support and advise managers on people-related matters
  • Play an active role in change management, including upcoming organisational restructures, particularly at senior management level
  • Help re-establish and reinforce company ways of working and HR practices
  • Engage regularly with employees, maintaining a strong onsite presence
  • Occasionally support payroll activities related to compensation and benefits:
  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and company policies

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Strong HR generalist background (ideally at HRBP or Senior HR Advisor level)
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment (desirable)
  • Comfortable working onsite and being highly visible
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident engaging with employees at all levels, including senior management
  • Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring
  • Solid understanding of Irish employment law

Preferred:

  • Experience in a multi-site Irish organisation
  • Exposure to payroll reporting or compensation & benefits administration
  • Ability to work autonomously within a small HR team
