Join a collaborative team in Galway, renowned for its vibrant community, excellent quality of life, and stunning natural surroundings.This Night Shift Technician role offers the opportunity to support advanced manufacturing lines, combining your technical skills with impactful contributions to life-saving medical devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Support: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance teams when necessary.
  • Yield Management: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate and resolve scrap and yield issues related to equipment and processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a close-knit team of approximately six Technicians and Production Core Teams across 3–4 key processes.
  • System Utilisation: Record maintenance activities in internal systems, use PowerPoint for yield updates, and manage handovers via Teams and Excel.
  • Database Interaction: Utilise SQL databases (training provided) to interact with equipment data and optimise performance.
  • Commitment to Safety and Quality: Execute all tasks with the highest regard for safety standards and quality protocols.
  • Essential Skills and AttributesStrong problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting is highly advantageous.
  • A team player with effective communication skills.
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and tools; SQL training will be provided.
