Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced EHSW Manager to join a growing team and oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, highly organised professional to manage compliance, audits, and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain ISO certifications and related audits.

  • Organise and track Health and Safety training; maintain training matrices on site.

  • Develop and deliver monthly safety alerts/toolbox talks based on current risks and trends.

  • Order and manage PPE for high-risk tasks, ensuring compliance across sites.

  • Participate in audit processes and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and best practices.

  • Implement task-specific safety documentation and communicate associated risks and hazards.

  • Conduct COSHH assessments and provide chemical handling training.

  • Investigate and compile accident, incident, and near-miss reports.

  • Develop procedures and SOPs in collaboration with operational teams.

  • Perform regular site audit inspections and safety assessments.

  • Analyse monthly EHS statistics for reporting purposes, identifying trends and improvement areas.

  • Liaise with relevant regulators (HSA, EPA, local councils, etc.) to ensure compliance.

  • Lead by example in PPE and safety compliance across sites.

  • Collaborate with site leadership on priority EHS issues and develop action plans.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety awareness.

  • Manage EHS budget and drive efficiencies in service provision and equipment procurement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum degree or higher diploma in Health and Safety or related field.

  • At least 2.5 years’ experience in a customer-focused environment.

  • Experience working with management systems, e.g., ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001.

  • Proven ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving and innovative thinking.

  • Membership of IOSH (or working towards) or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.

  • Flexibility to travel to multiple sites as required.

  • Experience in auditing HSEQ management systems is essential.
