Our Purpose
In our Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise (CoE), we focus on sourcing and securing skilled talent for our operations sites in Ireland. As a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you partner directly with hiring managers to support selection and recruitment of professionals in the Software space.
A Day In The Life Of:
As a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you lead full cycle recruiting activities for Ireland Manufacturing and support or lead portions of strategic talent acquisition projects, processes and programs to achieve business needs. Given different hiring ramp-ups in the Software space, we look for someone who brings a Software recruitment background, with a thorough understanding of the Software talent landscape.
As a Senior TA Specialist, you partner with management to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates. You evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
Although we have a Strategic Sourcing function as part of our Talent Acquisition Team, we expect that TA Specialists are capable of developing and executing proactive sourcing strategies, building networks to ensure a constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors.
Other responsibilities include:
- Phone screens prospective employees prior to sharing with manager to ensure suitability for role
- Manages applicant tracking system
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers to create attractive offers to secure top talent
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and provide regular communication to hiring managers on open positions and active candidates
- Team player with a growth mindset and desire to share expertise with and learn from fellow team members and wider colleagues
- Develop strong, professional, trusting relationships with business partners
Key Skills & Experience
Must have: Minimum requirements to be considered for this role. Please ensure they are evident on your resume.
- Qualified to a bachelor’s degree level in a relevant field; a science or engineering background would be beneficial
- Minimum 4 years of relevant recruiting experience, including experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter
- At least 2 years within a technical organization, with a focus on Software recruitment
- Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently using your own initiative
- Hybrid role – minimum of 2 days a week on site
