Role Overview
The EHS Manager will lead Environmental, Health & Safety performance across multiple sites and client operations. This is a key leadership role providing both strategic and operational support, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation, ISO standards, and corporate policies while driving a strong safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve EHS systems, policies, and procedures across organisation and client sites.
- Ensure full compliance with Irish EHS legislation and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001).
- Act as primary EHS contact for internal stakeholders and client organisations.
- Lead audits (internal and external) and support certification processes.
- Oversee risk management activities including Safety Statements, RAMS, and environmental registers.
- Manage contractor safety, inductions, and performance monitoring.
- Support client projects, providing expert EHS guidance across live operational sites.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective/preventative actions are implemented.
- Deliver EHS training programmes and support competency development.
- Produce reports, KPIs, and updates for senior management and clients.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and leadership.
Requirements
- Level 7 qualification in EHS, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
- 2–3+ years’ EHS experience in a management or advisory role (client-facing experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 systems.
- Solid understanding of Irish EHS legislation.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to client sites.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Desirable
- Manual Handling Instructor / Assessor qualification.
- Experience in Facilities Management or multi-site environments.
- Experience conducting ISO/EHS audits.
