Job Title: Data Analyst (Contract)

Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the team on an initial 3–6 month contract. This role will focus on extracting data from legacy systems, transforming and restructuring datasets, and developing clear visualisations and reports to support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the organisation's transition towards an SAP S/4HANA-based environment. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will help convert unstructured and disparate data into meaningful insights. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different systems and delivering practical reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction and Transformation

• Extract data from legacy systems and multiple sources.
• Clean, reformat, and structure data to improve usability and consistency.
• Support the migration towards an SAP S/4HANA-based environment.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.

Reporting and Visualisation

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate key business information.
• Translate complex datasets into clear and meaningful insights for stakeholders.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analyses to support operational and strategic requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Communicate findings in a clear and accessible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve data accessibility and reporting processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and reporting methodologies.
• Contribute ideas for improving data quality and analytical capabilities.
• Maintain awareness of best practices in data analytics and visualisation.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, transforming, and analysing data from multiple systems.
• Strong data visualisation skills using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and Excel; experience with Python or other analytical tools would be beneficial.
• Experience working with ERP systems; exposure to SAP or SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and present data in a clear and actionable way.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience across a range of industries is welcomed; pharmaceutical industry experience is not required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

• Initial 3–6 month contract.
• ASAP start.
• Onsite initially, transitioning to a hybrid working model.
• Broad industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience beneficial but not essential.
