Senior Safety & Occupational Hygienist

Our client, a world leader in Biopharma is seeking a highly skilled Senior in Safety and Occupational Hygienist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in identifying and mitigating workplace health and safety risks.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, relevant qualifications/certifications, and practical experience.

        In this role you will : 

• Provide specialist advice to management and workforce by interpreting health, safety & legislation, corporate standards, policies and industry guidance.
• Assessing and controlling health hazards, including biological, chemical, ergonomic, physical, and psychosocial hazards.
• Conduct Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessment surveys - write reports and communicate findings.
• Understand and implement health and safety requirements for new products and projects through knowledge of applicable legislation and industry practices.
• Support a mature safety culture with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
• Deliver high quality Health and Safety training, communications and technical support

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Professional certification or working toward certification in Occupational Hygiene (e.g., Cert OH, CIH).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
