About the Role
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking an Operations Excellence Technical Specialist to join their team in Brinny, County Cork. This exciting opportunity allows you to drive operational improvements, tackle manufacturing constraints, and lead impactful projects that enhance production efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing processes holistically to identify efficiency opportunities and lead improvement projects.
• Manage EHS and quality investigations, and oversee batch record reviews.
• Provide technical support to operational functions and manage changes effectively.
• Lead cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and investigate issues within the Vaccines IPT.
• Complete continuous improvement projects, develop validation schedules, and prepare validation protocols.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to streamline processes.
• Represent the department in cross-functional projects.
• Maintain compliance with the highest standards for quality and safety.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policy, cGMP, and other regulations, and lead technical IPT input for risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Participate in and comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
• Degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex projects on a wide scale.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
