Role Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Analyst to join the team at Ballydine. This role offers the chance to contribute to a leading pharmaceutical company while advancing analytical skills in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing Responsibilities: Perform Raw Material, Intermediate, and Drug Substance testing to meet compliance requirements and customer targets, ensuring adherence to cGMP and safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all testing activities comply with GMP and other regulatory protocols, documenting results in computerised lab systems.
  • Analytical Support: Provide support for product quality investigations and new product demonstrations, both independently and under the supervision of the Laboratory Leader.
  • OOS Investigations: Lead and complete Out of Specification (OOS) investigations, supporting process changes as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain accountability for laboratory safety practices and ensure compliance with environmental, HR, and department-specific standards.
  • Leadership: Offer leadership in laboratory operations, aiding the resolution of analytical issues and supporting laboratory projects and improvements.

Essential Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of GMP and laboratory safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct analytical testing with precision and accuracy.
  • Competence in instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated skills in analytical chemistry and technical lab work.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
