EHS Divisional Lead – Ireland

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with a passion for fostering safe and proactive work environments? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Health and Safety Divisional Lead to oversee multiple sites across Ireland, championing a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As the Health and Safety Divisional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support operational teams with the guidance and training necessary to achieve excellence in safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Drive a Safety-First Culture: Foster a proactive safety environment by promoting best practices and embedding a zero-harm mindset.
• Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring robust staff training and compliance with safety regulations.
• Expert Support: Provide practical, expert advice across diverse service lines, including catering, cleaning, technical, front-of-house, and security.
• Site Engagement: Conduct audits, inspections, and training sessions on-site to maintain and enhance safety standards across all locations.
• Incident Management: Manage and investigate incidents and accidents, focusing on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

 

What You will Bring

 

• Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in occupational health and safety.
• Experience: Proven background in risk management, business continuity planning, and broad commercial experience.
• Skills: Effective communication and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Commitment: Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside normal working hours.
