Senior Product Owner
My medical device client is seeking an experienced Source-to-Pay & Interplant Product Owner to drive strategic elements of their global ERP transformation program. This program focuses on simplifying, standardizing, and modernizing core business processes, enabling the company to better leverage data and achieve sustainable, profitable growth.
Reporting to the Associate Director of the Advance Team, the Source-to-Pay & Interplant Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between the ERP transformation program and Source-to-Pay & Interplant business stakeholders. The role will initially focus on key deployments across commercial divisions, distribution centers, and manufacturing sites, as well as critical global functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the global ERP program strategy and implementation roadmap.
- Partner with business leaders to support activities such as process mapping, risk assessments, process optimization, data cleansing, and application remediation.
- Lead scoping and global template alignment, assess fit/gap requirements, and justify necessary customizations.
- Facilitate site assessments, deep dives, and design workshops.
- Develop key performance metrics and track the program’s success.
- Manage risks, solve problems, and drive decision-making to ensure smooth execution.
- Plan and execute early mobilization activities, including data cleansing and process standardization.
- Act as a change leader, simplifying language and fostering alignment through effective storytelling and communication.
- Oversee functional elements of capital equipment and maintain the Global Template Library.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in project/program management within the medical device field or a regulated industry.
- Proven experience managing global programs or leading functions like Purchasing, Sourcing, Receiving, and Interplant processes.
- Strong ERP system knowledge and understanding of key business processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage risks, solve problems, and drive execution with urgency.
- Flexibility to travel extensively (domestically and internationally).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile methodology, design thinking, or lean processes.
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
