Location: This permanent role can be based in any hub in EMEA, including London, Paris, Milan, Kerkrade, Madrid, Warsaw, Düsseldorf, and Galway.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive profitable and sustainable growth across EMEA. This role involves managing key programs aligned with regional strategy, encompassing strategic planning, governance, process improvement, business analysis, organizational design, change management, and business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT project management with experience in solution implementation. Expertise in AI technologies is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Identify Business Initiatives: Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives supporting profitable and sustainable growth.
Project Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, roles, and resources.
Lead implementation teams, including local country and functional representatives.
Ensure all supporting infrastructure (guidelines, processes, training, organizational structure) is developed and communicated.
Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders through reports and meetings.
Present strategic changes related to key markets, distribution channels, pricing, processes, and organizational design.
Develop and execute implementation strategies.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with key stakeholders to develop long-term change management strategies.
Foster a collaborative approach to enable effective transformation.
Performance Measurement:
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project effectiveness.
Collaboration & Networking:
Facilitate collaboration between internal and external resources.
Enhance capabilities by establishing partnerships with institutions, external companies, and research organizations.
Recommendations & Implementation:
Provide strategic recommendations related to technology and product globalization.
Develop and communicate implementation plans to stakeholders.
Leadership & Team Development:
Mentor and guide employees in design practices and enabling systems.
Lead and support communities of practice using collaboration tools.
Issue Resolution:
Identify and remove barriers to team progress.
Quickly resolve conflicts, engaging functional management as needed.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
Ensure compliance with quality policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Management Responsibilities
Lead a team or group of employees to achieve organizational goals.
Guide, coach, and develop direct reports while fostering best practices across the organization.
Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all employees to reach their full potential.
Manage budgets and resources within assigned functional areas, divisions, or projects.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in complex project and program management within the IT sector.
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
Work Eligibility:
Must be eligible to work in Europe.

Experience managing a portfolio of strategic programs or products.

Experience in a commercial environment.
IT deployment experience, with a strong interest in AI technologies.
