HR Project Specialist

Location: Onsite at a multinational site based in the midlands, hybrid working pattern minimum 3 days per week on site

Job Type: Full time, initial 6 month contract

Reports To: Head of HR

Job Summary:

The HR Project Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing various human resources projects within the organization. This role involves planning, executing, and closing projects according to deadlines. The HR Project Manager will collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and will serve as a liaison between HR and other business units.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for HR initiatives.

- In collaboration with HRD and other stakeholders define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

2. Stakeholder Management:

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.

- Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

- Manage expectations and build strong relationships with internal partners.

3. Process Improvement:

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance HR processes.

- Monitor project performance and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary.

4. Change Management:

- Lead and support change management initiatives related to HR projects.

- Develop and implement communication plans to ensure smooth transitions during project rollouts.

- Provide training and support to employees and management during project implementation.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure HR projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and present project reports, metrics, and documentation to senior management.

-Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5 years of experience in HR project management/ HR Business partner or a related role with a focus on talent management and organizational design

- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.


Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- High level of discretion and confidentiality.

- Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to evolving project needs

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly MS Excel and powerpoint

Experience in workforce planning, organisation design and talent management
