Facilities Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager to oversee operations at our Ballyogan site while also managing other contracts and remote sites. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead facility services, ensure seamless operations, and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, security, caretaking, and cleaning services, ensuring all functions run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the contract, ensuring service delivery meets expectations and remains within budget.
Ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plan is executed in accordance with the contract.
Manage contract budgets, attend commercial meetings, and oversee financial planning across multiple sites.
Provide leadership and guidance to Facilities Managers at remote sites.
Drive service excellence, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
Monitor and control costs, ensuring all expenditures remain within budget.
Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met across all contracts.
Manage utility billing, liaising with tenants/clients regarding usage and costs.
Review and manage Work in Progress (WIP) and aged debt reports, ensuring timely clearance.
Oversee statutory inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and cost-effective service delivery.
Manage security, cleaning, and caretaking teams, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for on-site tenants, providing guidance and support.
Lead and oversee projects and additional works, liaising with stakeholders as needed.
Promote environmental and waste management best practices.
Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered to across all sites.
Coordinate and manage contractors, ensuring compliance with all necessary documentation.
Support the company’s security function when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in site or facilities management.
Strong financial and budgetary management skills.
Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
Experience in project management and team leadership.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to foster a customer-focused, solution-driven approach.
Excellent communication and people management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and manage others.
Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
