The Impact You'll Make in this Role:
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will have the chance to leverage your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse individuals globally. Here, you will make a difference by:
Supporting production equipment within a medical device healthcare setting
Diagnosing and rectifying failures in automated electro/mechanical equipment
Scheduling and executing preventative maintenance tasks through PEMAC
Maintaining accurate and current maintenance records
Proactively ensuring production meets performance targets
Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices
Assisting Engineering projects and spearheading maintenance group tasks
Prioritizing Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Your Skills and Expertise:
To excel in this role from day one, the following qualifications at a minimum:
Certificate/Diploma/Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or related industry
Mechanical expertise within an automated manufacturing environment
Proficient troubleshooting/problem-solving skills and analytical approaches
Flexibility to work varying shift patterns as necessitated by business demands
Additional qualifications that could enhance your success in this role:
Proficiency in PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
Demonstrated high-level technical proficiency
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent teamwork skills, fostering a collaborative work environment
Role Location: Athlone, Ireland
Remuneration:
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with skills and experience, along with an exceptional benefits package.
Shift Allowance: 25% (12-hour x 3 cycle shift patterns 7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
