Project Commissioning & Qualification Engineer

Department: Engineering
Reports to: Senior Process Engineer, Global Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and approve qualification life cycle documents for direct impact systems, including SLIA, PQ, and final summary reporting.
• Generate commissioning test documents for no impact systems.
• Implement change controls in the change management system to support project activities.
• Coordinate and manage all elements of commissioning and qualification for various projects.

Key Duties:

• Develop project plans and qualification strategies.
• Oversee third-party suppliers, vendors, service providers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identify solutions for any shortfalls.
• Organize and attend meetings for progress updates and plan alignment.
• Participate in decision forums and adjust plans as needed.
• Evaluate resource allocation and provide recommendations.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding support and completion dates.
• Monitor and report on project budgets if assigned.

• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline with project management experience.
• 5 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or major projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office, and Excel.
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.

Supervision Received:

• Self-managed with supervision from the Site Project Manager Lead and Engineering Manager.

EHS Responsibilities:

• Comply with EHS policies and best practices.
• Ensure safety and report incidents immediately.
• Support a culture of EHS excellence and attend required training.
