Senior Network Engineer

This role can be worked in a hybrid manner from sites in Clare, Cork or Dublin 

The role focuses on implementing and managing complex network infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include designing scalable and reliable network architectures, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal network performance, security, and uptime.
The Senior Network Engineer will also lead a team of network engineers, mentor them, and manage tasks to ensure timely project delivery.
Hands-on experience with network hardware, software, and protocols (such as EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN), and security systems (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) is essential.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, with limited travel required.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of network engineering experience
• Knowledge of L3 routing protocols and firewalls
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• CCNA/CCNP certification is advantageous
