Position: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our Shannon production site. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical maintenance background and extensive experience in engineering or manufacturing environments. This role requires leadership skills to manage a team of technical leads and coordinators, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment. The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Site-based Account Manager, collaborating closely with senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute maintenance strategies to support production goals and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5 technical leads and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule and track maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment uptime.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, presenting updates on maintenance activities and project statuses.
• Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance maintenance operations and workflow.
• Manage facility maintenance aspects related to production, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
• Conduct daily meetings to discuss ongoing projects, equipment issues, and maintenance priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance to resolve technical challenges and optimize processes.
• Demonstrate strong leadership in high-pressure environments, maintaining composure and driving results under challenging circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related trades field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in maintenance programs and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) is essential.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, promoting collaboration and innovation.
• Experience in improving processes and operational efficiencies, with a track record of successful project implementations.
• Knowledge of facility management principles and practices, though specialized expertise is not required.
• Familiarity with factory floor maintenance, production equipment, and safety regulations.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, onsite at Shannon, Ireland (0800 – 1630).
