Senior Manager, Production Operations (Value Stream) Permanent Position – Clare

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Production Operations (Value Stream) to join our team in Clare on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the manufacturing team and collaborate with support functions to drive daily value stream activities, ensuring smooth product flow from raw material intake to finished goods shipping.

• Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (+QDIP) for the value stream and associated departments.

• Create and manage staffing plans and optimize equipment utilization to meet production schedules.

• Ensure all operations comply with GMP standards, Quality System Regulations, and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements.

• Recruit, train, and retain manufacturing talent, support team development through performance appraisals, and manage individual development plans.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products and processes and contribute to cross-site initiatives.

• Oversee and manage budgets and costs related to the value stream and manufacturing operations.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement events, driving daily management through lean methodologies and standard work practices.

• Contribute to operational projects, leveraging technical knowledge and structured problem-solving approaches.

• Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve performance metrics and meet quality system standards.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience (including 4+ years in people management).

• Solid understanding of Quality Systems with experience in external and internal audit environments.

• Experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; Kaizen leadership and strong problem-solving capabilities are highly desirable.

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of building team culture, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving results.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly present information, engage with diverse perspectives, and influence outcomes.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve and exceed performance metrics at both department and site levels.
