The Facilities Site Manager will oversee service delivery for a high-profile contract, focusing on service quality, team collaboration, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement. They will manage both Hard and Soft Services, including maintenance, cleaning, and security teams, with a strong emphasis on meeting KPI metrics and coordinating personnel. The role requires experience in managing service delivery in production, engineering, or logistics environments, and involves being on-site with frequent client interaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Oversee budgets for all contracts, ensuring effective cost control and meeting financial objectives.
  • Quality and Customer Support: Promote and achieve the company's quality standards and customer support goals.
  • Safety and Environment: Implement control measures to ensure safe working environments for subcontractors, avoiding disruptions to business operations.
  • Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contracts, ensuring maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and production equipment according to site-specific and regulatory requirements.
  • Team and Off-Site Support: Manage all aspects for all contracts under their control. Ensure that all mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained in accordance with each site’s specific requirements and the necessary regulatory requirements. This includes production equipment.
  • Most elements of work are managed by the site-based team (42.no employees)
  • Mobile engineers / project managers / subcontractors provide off-site support.
  • Provide guidance to each client as and when required.
  • Client and Energy Management: Provide clients with guidance on energy management to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Quality and Cost Control: Establish and manage quality measures, reduce subcontractor costs, and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Service Level Agreements: Develop, monitor, and measure effectiveness against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Training and HR Compliance: Ensure staff are fully trained, and all HR policies are followed.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports, manage reporting procedures, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Commercial Support: Assist with the commercial functions of the business, including tendering processes and contract management.
  • Site Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular site audits, monitor work quality, and ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures.
  • Client Relationships and Innovations: Develop customer relationships, suggest service improvements, and manage ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Staff Management: Hire, develop, and motivate staff, ensuring a high-quality workforce.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess effective communication skills and the ability to motivate others.

 

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a production regulated environment 4yrs of which must be in management.
  • Project management experience
  • Energy management experience / qualification would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Third level engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Member of a relevant professional organisation
  • A Knowledge of Sales & Margins processes
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Experience in CAFM / CMMS systems is necessary.
