At our Facilities department based in Galway, our mission is to develop innovative strategies for support, anticipate, and respond to changing site requirements, and support the environment to benefit the patients we serve. Facilities is a key function within the business and this role is crucial in supporting the business.
A Day in The Life Of:
In this role, you will maintain and develop relationships with internal customers and interface with Senior Management; you will also be the first line of contact for both internal employees and external visitors. As the role is visitor/client-facing, it is important to present well and always act in a courteous and professional manner.
The daily tasks for this role will include the following but are not inclusive, and the receptionist may be asked to provide other support to site leadership:

<li>Act as receptionist based in the Customer Innovation Centre (CIC) to meet and greet employees and external visitors who are visiting site leadership or attending CIC events.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coordinate and prepare visitors for the Customer Innovation Centre and visitors with onsite coordinators. This may include coordinating security access cards, confirming appointments on the Visitors Safe Permit portal, and contacting the point of contact.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide administrative support for site leadership as needed.</li>
</ul>

<li>Support facilities-related work activities.</li>
</ul>

Key Skills &amp; Experience
&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Level 6 qualification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a busy office environment.</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li>
</ul>

&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Reception or office administration experience is required.</li>
</ul>

<li>Supporting Site Welcome Screen communication and updates.</li>
</ul>

<li>Assigning and controlling visitor access badges and ensuring their return.</li>

<li>Supporting meeting room management and liaising with facilities for event setup.</li>

Receptionist

Position Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to manage CNC operations, from setup to execution. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers to design fixtures, source necessary equipment, and take ownership of all programming and machining tasks. The role primarily focuses on mould and pattern work to support the needs of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Program and configure CNC Milling Machines according to project specifications.</li>
<li>Design and manufacture machining fixtures.</li>
<li>Operate CNC machinery to meet product and industry requirements.</li>
<li>Interpret technical drawings and apply knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T).</li>
<li>Ensure safety by following all operational protocols and safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace and uphold housekeeping standards, including 6S.</li>
<li>Participate in cross-training to promote flexibility and versatility within the team and across departments.</li>
<li>Support the CNC department with scheduling and job completion requirements.</li>
<li>Oversee and manage the CNC Operations team.</li>
<li>Perform additional tasks as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications &amp; Skills
<ul>
<li>Education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent, a technical diploma, or an associate degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience: Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.</li>
<li>Technical Expertise:
<ul>
<li>2-5+ years of experience with CNC machines, including 5-axis CNC machines.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks or Hypermill.</li>
<li>Ability to set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC machines.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of technical drawings, precision measuring tools, and GD&amp;T.</li>
<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure precision and product quality.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Additional Skills:
<ul>
<li>Fluent in English; proficiency in Irish is a bonus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.</li>

The Facilities Engineer will maintain critical equipment and infrastructure, plan and implement improvement projects, and manage energy-saving initiatives. Responsibilities include managing contractors and collaborating with teams across departments.
