On offer is a full time, permanent role working onsite and on Shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the quality of products meets established guidelines and expectations.
• Production Monitoring: Track and record production metrics, ensuring schedules are met and communication is timely and accurate.
• Team Leadership: Support and lead the production team to achieve manufacturing goals and maintain audit readiness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technicians, operators, engineers, and value stream leads to resolve both day-to-day and long-term issues.
• Training and Development: Plan and coordinate training, development, and performance reviews for team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize statistical process control to monitor product quality and drive process improvements.
• Decision Making: Make informed decisions on quality, processing, automation, and tooling, coordinating with relevant engineers.
• Performance Management: Monitor and communicate performance metrics, ensuring high utilization, high yield, and low cost of quality.
• Compliance: Adhere to ISO9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as all corporate policies and site regulations.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Ideally you possess a qualification in plastic or mechanical engineering, or relevant industrial experience.
• Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of people management experience with a proven ability to develop talent and manage performance.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the injection moulding industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of robots, automation systems, and moulding ancillary equipment.
• Health and Safety: Commitment to high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Ability: Strong numeracy skills and the ability to manage a budget.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
