Job Title: Scientist II FSR

Role Overview: Scientist II plays a pivotal role in advancing biologics manufacturing capability through innovative laboratory work, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. This opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for passionate scientists seeking career growth and professional excellence.
Plan and execute analytical testing to support upstream and downstream processing (USP-DSP) scale-down model establishment, satellite runs, and continuous improvement studies within the MS&T Bioprocess Laboratory.
Conduct downstream processing laboratory studies, including chromatography runs and filter assessments.
Support the transfer of analytical methods into the MS&T laboratory environment.
Provide expert analytical support across site operations and the broader network, offering insights into non-routine analysis and troubleshooting activities.
Design and execute experiments, performing data analysis and interpretation with scientific rigour.
Author and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical reports to uphold documentation excellence.
Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across MS&T, quality, analytics, and regulatory functions to drive process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
Apply Lean Six Sigma and Change Management methodologies within the Analytical Sciences group, fostering a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Lead risk assessment initiatives (e.g., FMEA projects), promoting visibility of issues and proactive resolution strategies.
Represent MS&T during internal audits and external inspections, providing technical leadership and assurance of compliance.
Collaborate with global technical teams, development organisations, and external manufacturing partners to align strategies and share best practices.
Mentor and coach colleagues, offering fresh perspectives on existing solutions and championing a mindset of continuous learning and innovation.
Support product robustness monitoring activities and lead technical investigations when necessary.
